ABOUT Jeff Corle

When economic factors forced him to shut down his small dairy farm and sell his beloved Guernsey cows, Jeff Corle was left heart-broken and despondent. In the midst of his heartache and pain he turned to an old friend for comfort, his guitar, and started writing. The viral success of his first ever independent release, Empty Barn, is proof positive that the rest of the world is glad he did.

Following in the tradition of his outlaw country heroes like Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, and Willie Nelson, Jeff Corle's music combines hard-hitting truths etched from a lifetime of farming, trucking, and playing music in blue-collar bars and honkytonks with the poetry, story-telling mastery, and melodic genius of a man whose time to shine alongside neo-outlaw luminaries like Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers, and Chris Stapleton has arrived.

"I'm a farmer and artist who has something to say and I'm not afraid to say it."

Given the worldwide visceral response to his first single release, Empty Barn, the first single off his yet to be released album, Farm Animal, it's safe to say that tens of thousands of people around the globe are glad Corle has something to say.

From the beautifully rendered heartbreaking ballad, Empty Barn, featuring Tammy Rogers on fiddle, to country outlaw barn burners like the title track, Farm Animal, to the not so delicately messaged, Shit on the Road and Come Together-America there can be little doubt that Corle is indeed "not afraid to say it."

If you're looking for the bubble gum country pop gracing mainstream country radio these days, you're definitely in the wrong place. If you hunger for hard hitting real country music story telling told as only a man with life experience and a little grey in the beard can tell it, then you've found a home with Jeff Corle.

Jeff Corle has indeed a unique point of view and authentic American voice. Farmer, gifted storyteller, old sage, he carries on the tradition of outlaw country story-based song writing. Corle says,

You have to have lived some life – have some grey in the beard - to write songs like these and I’m proud of that.”

And it’s the song writing that sets Corle’s music apart from most others who’ve written about farm life and rural life.

These are well-crafted songs written from an authentic point of view with very high production values.

“I think my music resonates with people because they’ve been starving for good, well-written songs about their real lives that they can get off on. This is real country music about real country life.”

As he likes to say,

“Nashville taught me how to write songs, the farm gave me something

to write about . . .”
